Celebrating Diversity Through Design

This campaign showcases my work in visual identity design during my internship with the Farmingdale State College Marketing and Communications Department. Tasked with celebrating over a decade of multicultural galas, I developed a cohesive and vibrant brand system that visually honored the college’s diverse community and enhanced the event’s visibility across campus. I designed the brand identity for a vibrant campaign celebrating 13 years of multicultural galas at Farmingdale State College. The event, hosted by the Multicultural Committee, highlights the campus community’s rich cultural diversity through food, dance, artwork, and performances by students, staff, and faculty. The visual identity was applied across social media graphics, brochures, digital screens, and print materials, reflecting the event’s themes of unity, tradition, and cultural expression. The design incorporated bold patterns, warm color palettes, and culturally inspired motifs to evoke a sense of inclusivity and celebration. Feedback from attendees and committee members praised the cohesive branding for enhancing the event’s festive atmosphere and drawing greater campus engagement.
